By creating an account, accessing or using Rivet, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. About Rivet

Rivet is a cloud-based software platform designed to assist contractors and service businesses with job management, customer records, invoices, certificates, documentation and related business activities.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements in order to use Rivet.

4. User Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their login credentials.

You are responsible for all activities occurring under your account.

You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. Free Trial

Rivet may offer a 7-day free trial to new users.

Trial availability, duration and eligibility may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

Following the trial period, continued use of paid features may require an active subscription.

6. Subscription and Billing

Rivet is offered on a monthly subscription basis.

The current subscription price is £24.99 per month, including VAT where applicable.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Subscription pricing may be amended in the future. Users will be provided reasonable notice of material pricing changes.

7. Cancellation

Users may cancel their subscription at any time.

No minimum contract term applies.

Cancellation will prevent future billing but does not automatically entitle users to refunds for previous billing periods unless required by law.

8. Customer Data

Users remain responsible for all customer information, documents and records entered into Rivet.

Users warrant that they have appropriate legal authority and permissions to collect, process and store such data.

Rivet acts primarily as a processor of information stored by users within the platform.

9. Acceptable Use

Users must not:

  • Use Rivet for unlawful purposes.
  • Attempt unauthorised access to systems or data.
  • Distribute malware or harmful code.
  • Interfere with platform operation.
  • Abuse or disrupt other users.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer the service.

10. Availability

While we aim to provide a reliable service, Rivet is provided on an "as available" basis.

We may perform maintenance, updates, upgrades and improvements from time to time.

Continuous, uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed.

11. Intellectual Property

Rivet, its software, branding, logos, content, designs and associated intellectual property remain the property of JRT Applications Ltd or its licensors.

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive and revocable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JRT Applications Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or business losses arising from use of Rivet.

Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and verifying the accuracy of information generated by the platform.

13. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, threaten platform security or create legal risk.

We may also suspend services where required by law or regulatory obligations.
